There are two separate circuits, Road Race and Sprint:
Road Race Circuit
How To Get There
From the North & East
Via the A59 or M58 to the roundabout where they meet the M57, Switch Island.
At Switch Island take the exit after the M57, signposted A59, also a brown tourist sign ‘Aintree Race Course’.
At the second set of traffic lights, turn left into Aintree Lane (signposted ‘Melling’), after half a mile or so, turn right into Melling Road, then left into the circuit just over the bridge, go ahead through the paddock to signing on.
From the South & East
From the M62 or A580 take the M57 north and leave at Junction 6, at the roundabout take Exit 1 (turn left) onto the A506.
At the second set of traffic lights turn right into Aintree Lane, signposted B5194 Aintree, continue into Wango Lane, at the mini-roundabout take Exit 1 on Wango Lane.
In 400 yds turn left into Melling Road, then left into the circuit just over the bridge, go ahead through the paddock to signing on.
Entry: Spectators pay at the gate, marshals/officials do not require a ticket.
Signing On: in the white building on the right at the far end of the paddock, park in the Golf Centre car park on the left just after signing on.
Sprint Course
How To Get There
From the North & East
Via the A59 or M58 to the roundabout where they meet the M57, Switch Island.
At Switch Island take the exit after the M57, signposted A59, also a brown tourist sign ‘Aintree Race Course’.
Follow A59 until the entrance to the Horse Racing Circuit on the left (after the Aintree Trading Estate).
From the South & East
From the M62 or A580 take the M57 and carry on to the roundabout at the end, Junction 7 Switch Island, take Exit 1 (turn left) onto the A59 and proceed as above.
Entry: Spectators pay at the gate, marshals/officials do not require a ticket.
Signing On: Normally in the main stand building – we can advise you on this.
